Gorgeous weather & Dermabond Update...

So this past weekend was full of fun things to do. Sunday our church had its annual River Valley Thunder. Mike was happy to take Laykan on the motorcycle ride. She loves riding the Harley and so does Mike. I stayed home with Londyn while she napped and went out there after the ride was over. It was a beautiful day... On Saturday we went to the KISR kite flight. KISR has been sponsoring this event for as long as I can remember. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed getting out of the house.
After church Sunday we all went out to Mom & Dad's for Chris's 18th birthday celebration. Hard to believe he is 18. I remember when he was born so to think of him as 18 already blows my mind.

The picture below was taken the day of Londyn's accident at school. This is what she looked like right after she got her Dermabond on.

This was day 8 after the Dermabond and it is starting to come off. You can really see it in this picture but I'm anxious to see what the scar will look like when its all the way off. Not sure if you can see it in this picture, but she also has a busted lip from diving on to a pile of pillows she had stacked in the floor at her Nanny & Papaws. She is so rowdy & tough.

  1. Dermabond is really a lifesaver and so much better than traditional stitches. Especially for children--no additional crying!
