So Laykan will turn 14 tomorrow. I'm so proud of this young lady. She is kind to her friends, she doesn't disrespect me (to my face), she is making good choices in her life, she loves Christ and she is absolutely gorgeous!!!
We spent this past weekend at Lake Ouachita and Magic Springs/Crystal Falls. We stayed Friday night at my pareent's place at the lake. Then Saturday we got up and headed into Hot Springs for a day in the sun at Magic Springs. The girls tie-dyed shirts and anything else they could get their hands on. All in all it was a good time.

Father's Day & Updates...
This is Zac...he is Dad's new pup...
Father's Day 2011 (11wks 22lbs)
The best dad in the world...Richard Carlisle
You are counting everything in sight, you sing all the time, you can basically carry on a conversation with anyone. You are the smarest little girl I've ever been around. I had always thought Laykan was advanced growing up but you amaze me everyday with your ability to say absolutely ANYTHING. No vowel or consonant is too hard for you to pronoun. I'm excited for you to get back into school in August. I'm sure your interaction with others is a big part of your learning abilities. Shoot for the moon baby girl...
(Laykan & Buffy when it was just us 3)
Miss Laykan,
we are gearing up for the celebration(s) of your 14th birthday. We will start with a get-a-way to Magic Springs/Crystal Falls this weekend with you and 4 or 5 of your friends. (lots of pictures on a later post) Then next Tuesday, the day before your actual birthday, we will have a party at our house with you and your friends. Then I've taken a vacation day on your actual birthday to spend the day with you. I hope all your celebrations turn out just the way you plan. I love you and couldn't be more proud of the young lady you are today. You will always be my first babygirl!!!

Court...
Last day of 8th grade. Her beauty amazes me!!!
Londy wearing shades. There is something about her putting glasses over her eyes. Her mouth is wide open everytime.
So today is court with Robert over child support and visitation with Londyn. I must admit...I'm a little nervous. My prayer is that God gives me the words to say and guides me through this process. I'm not using an attorney because quite frankly I can't afford it and I'm not really opposed to Robert being involved in Londyn's life. I only want him to establish a good consistant relationship with her before he is allowed to take her from my house for visits. I don't think today will be any big deal in that the only reason I can see for us going to court is for the judge to order Robert's attorney to provide me with the paperwork I've been requesting since December 24th.
Father God...I ask that you forgive me for the things I say and do that are unpleasing to you. I try on a daily basis to be the person I know you want me to be. Please forgive me for falling short. Lord, I ask that you be with me today. Be my voice, calm my nerves and lead me through this process as your will would have it. Lord, protect my children. Please keep them safe no matter where they are. Holy Spirit enter that courtroom at precisely 2:30 this afternoon and be Judge Spear's guide. Help him to make decisions for my daughter that will keep her out of harms way. And Lord when Londyn is with her dad I pray a hedge of protection around her and Robert so that she will be brought home safely. In Jesus' name I pray...Amen.Wednesday, June 1, 2011
My Girls...
So for this first post today I just want to give an updaye on what's going on in your lives...
Laykan...this is your last week of the 8th grade. I'm so proud of the young lady you are. I dropped you off at school today in your "cheer" uniform and as you walked away from the car I couldn't help but think about how grown up you look and how gorgeous you are. I can hardly believe you will be a freshman in 2 more days. This school year has flown by. It has been such a fun year with you being part of the Ramsey Royal Blues. Freshman year is going to be the best!!! I love you so much baby girl!!!
Londyn...you want to know EVERYTHING! You have started asking lots of questions. "What's that?" "Where'd it go?" Another thing I love hearing you say is "I hold you.". This means you want me to hold you. So cute. You continue to amazing me with your intelligence. You are changing everyday and growing up so fast. I love you so much baby girl!!!
